Job Summary

Coburn’s Exclusive is seeking Installation Crew Members.  Our Installation Crew will install architectural metal structures, using a variety of construction and welding practices. Installation Crew members should be familiar with power and hand tools, and be able to read drawings and problem solve on the job site. This role would directly report to the Installation Lead. 

Essential Functions

• Using power and hand tools to install various architectural metal structures to existing structures.
• Following instructions of Installation Lead to efficiently and safely install our products.
• Traveling to job sites (may require overnights).
• Maintain positive working relationships with crew members, vendors, suppliers, and sub-contractors to maintain a timely flow of supplies, materials and subcontractor work.
• Ensure all safe work practices are followed at all times.
• Ensure safe housekeeping practices are followed at all times, including job cleanup at the end of each day.

Installation Crew Duties 

• Safety-focused craftsmanship

• Understanding of trade related materials, components, equipment, systems, methods of installations, safety procedures and safe work practices

• Follow safety practices. Reacts properly to incidents/violations.

• Communicates well with customer representatives, internal departments, and peers
• Drives, operates and maintains equipment
• Reads plans and communicates with others involved in the design/fabrication/installation processes.

• Excellent attendance and punctuality is a must.

• Effectively works jobs of any type, with strong problem solving skills

• Consults with upper management

• Perform other project related duties and assignments as needed

Physical Standards

• Position will require exerting up to 60 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body and operating machinery at heights up to 100 feet plus.

• Position is subject to both outside and inside environmental conditions. Employees may be subject to harsh weather conditions while on job sites.

• Work schedules include days, nights and weekend work.

Desired, but not required

• OSHA30 Certification
• Forklift Certification
• Aerial Lift Certification

This position requires an authorization to work within the United States and a valid drivers license accompanied by a reliable mode of transportation to and from work (including jobs that are not located at our shop). Additionally, all applicants will be required to submit to a background check prior to receiving an offer of employment from Coburn's Exclusive, LLC.
